Michelle McNeil-Brown joined the Worthing & Going team in November 2009. A Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, Michelle owned and operated her own bookkeeping and QuickBooks consulting business in Kennebunk from 1998 through 2009. She has worked in the field of accounting for well over twenty years and has extensive practical knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting functions.

In addition to onsite QuickBooks training, troubleshooting, and support, Michelle has taught numerous adult education QuickBooks courses.


A graduate of the University of Southern Maine with a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Michelle is currently enrolled in the Fraud Examination and Forensic Accounting Master's certificate program at Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester, New Hampshire. Michelle is also seeking a master's degree in Justice Studies to supplement the Fraud Examination and Forensic Accounting certificate.

She is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.

Michelle is also a Notary Public in the State of Maine.

Michelle lives in Kennebunk with her husband, Dan, and their two Boston Terriers. When not working or studying, she enjoys gardening, reading, and spending time with her husband, family and friends.
