Our Principals Jeffrey S. Worthing, C.P.A. Jeff is a shareholder of Worthing & Going, P.A. He has practiced public accounting since 1985, working with individuals, fiduciaries, and small businesses in the areas of taxation and financial consulting. Jeff works with small business owners to help them better manage their business from a tax and financial perspective. This includes assistance with business planning issues, aid in obtaining financing, accounting system evaluation and computerization, budget development and cash flow analysis, as well as timely planning strategies. Using his experience, Jeff has presented several seminars and instructed classes on both tax planning and accounting. A graduate of the University of Southern Maine with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Accounting, Jeff is a lifelong resident of the area and resides in Scarborough with his wife and their son. Jeff is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Maine Association of Professional Accountants. Fredrick C. Going, C.P.A. Fred is a shareholder of Worthing & Going, P.A. He has practiced public accounting since 1986, working with individuals, corporations, and nonprofit clients in the areas of tax, auditing, and consulting. Fred provides accounting, tax, and consulting services to individual and business clients in various industries. He has extensive experience with the start up of companies providing assistance with business plans, proper entity selection, and securing financing for work capital and equipment needs. He also devotes time to assisting clients in structuring purchases and sales of businesses, assisting with divorce planning, and assisting elderly clients with all of their unique tax and wealth accumulation issues. Fred also devotes a large part of his practice working with non-profit agencies, providing auditing, compliance, and consulting services. Fred is a 1987 graduate of the University of Southern Maine with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Fred resides in Saco with his wife and their two sons. Fred is currently a board member of the Biddeford-Saco Chamber of Commerce and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
